The ‘Green Cadet’ Summer Program is a community oriented 2 weeks, fun packed, interactive and hand on climate change education package.

The goal is to groom middle and high school children to understand the impact of global warming, increase "climate literacy" and develop positive adaptive lifestyle changes that helps us save our planet.

Grade: Middle and High School
Duration: 2 weeks (4 days a week)
Time: 9:00am to 2pm

Today, climate change is a core challenge facing our planet and its discourse has become a global priority. Hence, we believe that actively grounding children in Climate Change Education earlier in life, makes their way of life. In addition, climate change education harnesses not only improves a child's active participation as a climate change advocate, but also creates a strong tool through which the impacts of climate change is mitigated at a more personal level.
  • Understand and rationalize theories, and projections of climate change
  • • Identify and Explain themes and and basic concepts that revolve around climate change.
  • Develop and appreciate community based initiatives and strategies to mitigate and adapt to climate change
  • \Develop critical skills to analyze and synthesize climate change information from a cross cultural and interdisciplinary perspective
